A fundamental part of project management analysis is the accurate recording of time spent on activities. It’s also an important part of any project management tool. Fortunately, ProjectPartner makes timsheeting painless – and you might even go so far as to say we’ve made it fun.
ProjectPartner’s Timesheet module offers day, work week, calendar week and month views, and lets each user specify time increments from one minute to an hour. Recording time is then as simple as selecting a task and clicking and dragging over the appropriate time. All entries are editable and can be dragged to another time or day, or assigned to another task. There’s even a dynamic Time Recorder to automatically create entries for users when activated.
Time entries for entire days or weeks can easily be duplicated to another timeframe to accommodate repetitive work patterns. When a user has completed recording time for any period, just a couple of mouse clicks submits the time for billing approval.
A timesheet is only useful for productivity analysis if it’s up to date. ProjectPartner provides easy access for supervisors to review and edit their workgroups’ timesheets. Select the appropriate resource from the list, and record work in their timesheet as if it were your own! And when you’re done, one click takes you back to your own timesheet.

For some types of work or workers, tracking the precise start and end times of activity is unnecessary. ProjectPartner’s Bulk Entry Timesheet mode lets users – or their managers – record cumulative activity for each task instead.
An employee who goes on leave but forgets to record their unavailability, or a group of workers with no PC access of their own, need never skew your reporting again.
ProjectPartner’s Timesheet module also includes a comprehensive expense claims mode. Your staff can easily lodge expenses relating to activity, allowing sundry costs to be included in profitability reporting and cost recovery.

Using categories and descriptions you define, it’s quick and easy for ProjectPartner users to record details of expenses incurred in the execution of their jobs. They can even attach documents like checks and receipts in support of their claims – extremely useful for remote workers who may not be able to personally deliver hard copies of required documentation to your accounting department.
Other tangible costs can be entered through the Billing module, and these can also be recovered from your customers.
As the core of your projects’ cost recovery, the flexible Timesheet and Expense modules are available to all ProjectPartner users, and are presented in ways that encourage their use.
